Yes. Hangar.Media supports both Tableau Server on-premises deployments and Tableau Cloud. The authentication method differs slightly, but both are fully supported through the integration setup wizard.
Can I filter the Tableau dashboard for specific screen locations?
Yes. You can append URL filter parameters to your Tableau embed URL so each screen location shows filtered data relevant to its audience. For example, a regional office screen can filter to show only that region.
What happens if my Tableau Server goes offline?
Hangar.Media caches the last successfully rendered view. If your Tableau Server becomes temporarily unavailable, the screen continues to show the most recent dashboard snapshot until connectivity is restored.
Can I mix Tableau dashboards with other content types?
Absolutely. Tableau dashboards can be added to any Hangar.Media playlist alongside videos, images, web pages, and other integration content. You can set individual durations for each content item in the rotation.
