Is my Xero data secure when displayed on signage?
Yes. Hangar.Media connects to Xero via OAuth 2.0 with read-only access. Financial data is rendered locally on the player device and is not stored on Hangar.Media servers. We recommend displaying aggregate summaries rather than transaction-level detail on shared screens.
Can I control which financial data is shown on screen?
Yes. You can choose which Xero reports and metric summaries are displayed. Show cash flow on one screen and P and L on another, or combine them in a rotation. Sensitive details can be excluded.
How often does Xero data refresh on screen?
Hangar.Media pulls updated data from Xero at your chosen interval, typically every 30 to 60 minutes. Xero bank feeds update throughout the day as transactions clear, so your screen data stays reasonably current.
Can I display Xero data alongside other business metrics?
Yes. Xero financial summaries can be added to any Hangar.Media playlist alongside sales dashboards, marketing metrics, team announcements, and other content types.
