Yes. Create a shared Google Photos album and share the link with attendees. As they add photos from their phones, the images appear in the signage slideshow at the next sync cycle, typically within 5 to 15 minutes.
Is there a limit on album size?
Google Photos albums can contain up to 20,000 items. Hangar.Media displays all photos in the album as part of the slideshow rotation. For very large albums, the slideshow cycles through all photos over time.
Can I moderate photos before they appear on screen?
Google Photos shared album owners can remove photos added by contributors. For additional moderation, Hangar.Media can be set up to only display photos that have been starred or added to a curated sub-album.
What photo formats are supported?
Google Photos supports JPG, PNG, GIF, WebP, and most RAW camera formats. All photos stored in Google Photos are available for display on Hangar.Media signage screens regardless of their original format.
