Do I need a Google Workspace account?
No. Google Sheets is free with any Google account. The publish to web feature used by Hangar.Media is available on both free and Google Workspace accounts.
How quickly do edits appear on the signage screen?
When a Google Sheet is published to the web, changes typically propagate within 5 minutes. Hangar.Media reloads the published sheet at your chosen interval to capture the latest data.
Can I show multiple sheets from the same spreadsheet?
Yes. You can publish individual worksheets within a Google Sheets file and display different sheets on different signage screens, or rotate between sheets on a single screen.
Is the data secure when displayed on screen?
Published Google Sheets are accessible via the published URL. For signage displaying sensitive data, we recommend using a dedicated display sheet that pulls aggregated data from private sheets using formulas, limiting what is exposed publicly.
