Amazon Fire TV Stick
The world's most popular streaming stick. Now a professional-grade digital signage player.
Why it works.
Amazon Fire TV Stick turns any commercial display with an HDMI port into a managed digital signage screen. At £35–£55, it's the most cost-effective way to put Hangar.Media on any screen, anywhere — no professional AV installation, no dedicated media PC, no IT team required.
The Hangar.Media player is a native Fire TV app, available directly from the Amazon Appstore. Install it in a couple of taps and pair the screen — it then launches on boot and runs full-screen with the display kept awake. Content is cached offline, so screens keep playing even when the internet drops, then sync the moment connectivity returns.
Live in five minutes.
Four steps from HDMI port to live content — no engineers needed.
Plug in and power up
Connect Fire TV Stick to any HDMI port. Use the wall adapter — not the TV's USB port, which often supplies insufficient voltage.
Install from the Amazon Appstore
From the Fire TV home screen, open Find → Search and look for "Hangar.Media", then select Get to install. You can also send it to the device remotely from amazon.com in any browser.
Open and pair
Launch the app — it opens straight into pairing mode and shows a six-character code. In your dashboard, go to Signage → Screens → Pair Screen and enter the code.
Done — it runs itself
The player relaunches automatically on every boot and keeps the screen awake. For large fleets, push the app and settings via an MDM policy. No further setup needed.
