Windows
Run Hangar.Media on the OS your IT team already manages. No new infrastructure. No new expertise. No new problems.
Why it works.
Windows is the most widely deployed OS in enterprise environments, which means your organisation likely already has the hardware, the IT expertise, and the management infrastructure to run it. Hangar.Media runs in any modern browser — Chrome, Edge Chromium, Firefox — so deployment is as simple as opening a URL.
Windows Assigned Access locks the device to a single application: your browser, your Hangar.Media URL. Microsoft Intune pushes this configuration to every device in your estate. No manual configuration at each screen. No physical access required after the initial deploy. Your existing Windows fleet is now a managed signage network.
Works on every Windows PC you already own.
Three minutes from first boot to live content.
Open a browser
On any Windows 10/11 machine, open Chrome, Edge, or Firefox. Navigate to your Hangar.Media display URL and sign in. You're already displaying content.
Set to fullscreen
Press F11 to enter fullscreen mode. Configure your browser to launch maximised and navigate to your display URL on startup — via a shortcut argument or Group Policy.
Enable kiosk mode
For managed deployments, configure Windows Assigned Access via Intune or SCCM to lock the device to a single browser app. The screen boots directly into your content.
Configure auto-start
Use Windows Task Scheduler, Group Policy, or your MDM to launch the browser to your display URL on system startup. Set the display to never sleep during operating hours.
