Can I use the Teams Rooms display for signage when meetings are not active?
Yes. Hangar.Media can detect when a Teams Room is idle and push signage content to the room display. When a meeting starts, the display automatically switches back to Teams Rooms mode. This maximises the value of your meeting room display investment.
Do I need specific Teams Rooms hardware?
The room panel functionality works with standard signage screens mounted outside meeting rooms. For idle display signage on the in-room screen, compatibility depends on your Teams Rooms hardware configuration. Most certified Teams Rooms devices support this feature.
Can visitors check in at the room panel?
On touch-enabled room panels, visitors can confirm their arrival for a booked meeting. This sends a notification to the meeting organiser through Teams.
How does wayfinding work for multi-floor offices?
Hangar.Media wayfinding screens display floor-by-floor maps with real-time room status. You can place screens on each floor showing the rooms on that floor, or in the main lobby showing an overview of all floors.
