Can I display room calendars without showing meeting details?
Yes. You can set the display to show only availability status (available or occupied) and time remaining, without displaying meeting titles, organiser names, or attendee details for privacy.
Does this work with Microsoft 365 resource mailboxes?
Yes. Hangar.Media connects to Microsoft 365 resource mailboxes, which is the standard way meeting rooms are configured in Exchange Online. Room calendars, equipment calendars, and shared calendars are all supported.
Can employees book a room from the signage screen?
On touch-enabled screens, Hangar.Media can optionally display a booking button that creates a reservation in Outlook Calendar directly from the screen outside the meeting room.
How quickly does the screen update when a meeting starts or ends?
Hangar.Media polls the Outlook Calendar API at your chosen interval, typically every 1 to 2 minutes. The room status display updates within minutes of a booking being created, modified, or ending.
